My Fort Magic method is working great for quickly creating a custom backdrop shape. I used one of the backdrops in Daisy’s last episode – it’s the mustard colored wall in the photo below, which I created by attaching some cotton fabric I had to the Fort Magic structure.

Daisy and her friends gather to go over the clues.

You’ll see the curved backdrop I’m using in Lily’s garden the next time I get her outdoors.

But, I’d like to use my own photos as backdrops instead of relying on fabric. The problem is that I can’t easily attach a photo to the Fort Magic structure – I need something that’s more like a fabric, since the clips rely on wrapping the backdrop around the frame.

I know that photo backdrops are traditionally printed onto muslin (even though all the ones I get off of Aliexpress seem to be printed onto some vinyl material), but I can’t figure out how they’re being printed onto fabric. So, I’m throwing a question out to the (small) crowd – is there some printing service that prints onto muslin? Or, onto any kind of flexible background? Alternately, has anyone run a sheet of muslin through a printer?
