I find it very hard to look at everyday objects and imagine what they might be in 1/6 scale. For my main doll adventures, that means I mostly either make everything in their world, or buy readymade playscale objects.
But, for my Underfoot adventure, it doesn’t make much sense for them to have object built to their scale since they’re residents in a normal scale world. That’s left me wandering the aisles of hardware stores trying to look at everything through their eyes and see what they might find useful, in the hopes of creating a Borrowers-type setting for them. But, so far, I’ve been utterly unable to make that transition. Everything just looks like what it is. Maybe if I took my dolls shopping with me?

It depends on what they’re doing in the story. If they’re trying to get from one room of the house, say, off a counter or desk, to another room or onto another high surface, they’ll need to climb. In that case, thumb tacks could be used to help them scale, and decorative twine or braided ribbon could be used as rope.
If the house has been abandoned, or it’s simply too cold, tealights would probably produce a decent amount of heat, rather than starting an actual fire. In that case, one of those small flip books of matches would come in handy as well, and they could easily be latched onto a tiny backpack.
A thin exacto knife could be used to open items, fend off scary rats, and the blade could be put away and used as a walking stick.
I’m thinking very “outdoor adventure indoor” here, sorry if I’m off base.
If you’re thinking more relaxing evening, a regular smartphone could make a big screen TV 😉

Plastic bottle caps make big bowls. Pencil for walking stick/writing things down – if you had several you could use them to hold up a swatch of fabric for a little tent at night. Small crafting scissors for cutting the length of rope (if the exacto knife is too big/clunky).

I find that jewellery boxes make wonderful tables or beds, with a handkerchief on top.

Fluffy socks might make nice sleeping bags. Votive holders under small pieces of glass or mirror make nice end tables or coffee tables. Knobs for dressers and the like (spare parts) make nice vases (sometimes). A mesh pencil holder as a garbage can.
